Isekaied is a free game played in the real world. Your safety always comes first.
You keep the rights to your marks, legends and photos. Please post only what you have the right to share.
Play fair: no cheating, location spoofing or bots, and treat other players with respect.
You can delete your account at any time, in the app or by email.

Playing safely

Isekaied is played in the real world. The map, the fog and the quests are on your screen, but the streets, traffic and people around you are real. Please keep these rules in mind every time you play:

Always pay attention to your surroundings, traffic and local rules. Look up from your screen when crossing roads or moving through crowds.
Never use the app while driving or cycling. If you need to check the app, stop in a safe spot first.
Do not enter private property or dangerous areas, even if a quest, a mark or an expedition stop seems to lead there.
Dress for the weather, take breaks and know your limits.

You are responsible for your own safety and for following the laws and rules of the places you visit.

Who we are

Isekaied is developed by Arxdeus ("we", "us"). It is a free mobile app for iOS and Android that turns walking around your own city into a dark fantasy game: a fog-covered world map that is revealed where you walk, a hero who levels up, quests, streaks, medals, expeditions, friends, duels, trades, leaderboards and seasons.

These terms are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using Isekaied, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Your account

Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Isekaied.
Signing in. You create an account with your email (using a one-time code) or with Google sign-in, and choose a display name. Please pick a name that does not impersonate anyone or offend others.
Keep access secure. Keep access to your email and Google account safe, as they are the keys to your Isekaied account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
One person per account. An account is personal. Do not share it, sell it or play on someone else's account.

Your content

In Isekaied you can create marks, write legends about places and attach photos. You keep the rights to your content.

To run the game, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy and display your content in the app: to you and, where you choose to share it, to your friends and other players. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that others have already seen before deletion completes.

When you post content, you confirm that you have the right to post it. Please do not post:

anything illegal
hateful, harassing or threatening content
personal data of other people, including photos of people who have not agreed to it
spam or advertising

We may remove content that breaks these rules.

Fair play

Isekaied is fun when everyone plays by the same rules. Please do not:

cheat or use location spoofing or fake GPS
use bots, scripts or automation to play
exploit bugs instead of reporting them to us
reverse engineer, modify or interfere with the app or our servers
abuse other players, including in duels, trades and friend requests

Virtual items and progress

Levels, medals, items and other progress in Isekaied are part of the game. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the game.

To keep the game fair and balanced, we may change, rebalance or reset virtual items and progress, for example at the start of a new season or after cheating is detected.

Availability and changes

Isekaied is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or work on every device.

Features may change, be added or be removed over time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any harm that results from how you move around in the real world while playing. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your account

You can stop using Isekaied and delete your account at any time. See how to delete your account.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the app. If you keep using Isekaied after a change, the updated terms apply.
